The field security officer is the foundation of any security agency, and at Alpha-Centurion, we make sure we recruit, select, and retain only the most qualified applicants. On average, less than eight percent of all applicants successfully pass out initial screening process, and many of these are rejected during the final interview. Once selected, our security officers receive a thorough background check and drug screening examination. Officers then receive extensive instruction on our company policies and procedures. These policies are written solely to provide for the needs of our clients and maintain staff discipline. Finally, upon acceptance each officer is issued a police-style uniform or a softer, blazer-style uniform according to our clients' requirements.

The second and often most critical element of providing professional security service is direct supervision. Alpha-Centurion promotes supervisors from within our ranks based upon their training, skills, maturity, leadership, and professionalism. Alpha-Centurion maintains direct security supervision 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Supervisory officers serve as the critical communication and implementation link between the security force, the company, and our clients.
